| Welcome to a new school year! Just a few reminders to make
the library run more smoothly. If the teachers in grades K-5 could return
books on the mornings that your class will be visiting the library, it would
be greatly appreciated. It makes it so much easier if I can check in the
books before the class appears. That way I will know who has returned books
and who still has books missing. Also, if a child is absent or has forgotten
a book on library day, please allow them to bring the books to the library
on the day they return them, so they will not continue to accumulate fines
while the book is sitting in the classroom. This also helps keep books from
being swallowed up in the classroom.
I will continue to send the Working Together forms at the beginning of each month. Please use them to let me know what materials you need me to purchase to support the curriculum as well as having me gather materials that we already own for you use. If we do not have what you need for a topic, let me know. Remember, the library is available for class visits during the times when I do not have classes. I hope this year goes smoothly for all.
