Every parent wants to know...Does my child have homework, projects and tests/quizzes in your class??

My answer to them is: "Check the homework site"..

Most of the work in music is done during class but due to the minimal time I have with the students reviewing music terms, symbols, history, vocabulary, and other music skills is necessary. 

Besides studying the above at times students are asked to bring materials for class.  These assignments will be posted on the homework site.  A student who does not bring the proper materials will be marked down. 

I reserve the right to give POP quizzes at any time.  This will not be listed on the homework site.

Tests and Quizzes will be announced in class and put on the homework site. I will review ahead of time with the students in class. Students in grades 5-8 are expected to take notes during the review.

Projects: Projects will usually be done in class, however materials may need to be brought in from home. Again check the homework site for details. Students not prepared for these classes will be marked down.
