My name is Mrs. Kim Altenburger.  I teach physical education  to grades K through 8 at St. Ursula School.  I have been teaching at St. Ursula for 20 years.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  I am certified to teach in the State of Maryland.  I Iove to run and have been running competitively for 25 years.  I was named Baltimore Road Runner's Female Master Runner of the Year in 1998.  I completed my first marathon, the Baltimore Marathon, on October 16, 2004 in 3:57:44.  This qualified me to run the Boston Marathon which I completed on April 17, 2006.  I hope my enthusiasm for physical activity will inspire and motivate my students
