The fifth grade teachers are using fractions to report your child's assessment scores. If you want to find the percentage just divide the numerator by the denominator. For example, if you child received a 6/8 on a quiz, use a calculator to compute  6 divided by 8. This equals .75 which is 75%. We are using this point system which will give you a better understanding of the weight of each assignment. The chart below will be given to each child to help you better understand the point system.
