The Odyssey (author’s style, direct/indirect characterization, foreshadowing, genre differentiation: the epic, static/dynamic characters)

Nonfiction:

Life on the Mississippi (tone, imagery, setting, analogy)

Novel:

Tom Sawyer ( satire and style, direct/indirect characterization, archaic language, colloquialism, static/dynamic characters, irony, third person omniscient/limited, foreshadowing, foil, motif, theme, satire)
