All About Mr. Bailey |

| Mr.
Brendan Bailey was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a
graduate of Loyola Blakefield High School and received his Bachelor's
Degree from
Goucher College in English Literature. After
completing his undergraduate program, Mr. Bailey remained at Goucher to
earn his Master's of Education degree in Middle School Education.
His graduate coursework as well as performance during student teaching
earned him a Meritorious New Teacher award from the Maryland State
Department of Education, recognizing him as one of the most gifted and
promising young teachers in the state. Since then, Mr. Bailey has
continued his studies at Goucher, now working towards administrative
certification in the hopes of becoming a principal. His teaching
career began in 2004 teaching 6th grade in Baltimore City Public
Schools. After one year, Mr. Bailey moved to
Saint Ursula School
in Parkville, Maryland, where he has taught 7th and 8th grade literature
ever since. Mr. Bailey is an avid baseball fan with tremendous pride in his hometown Baltimore Orioles. He loves international travel and has visited England, Scotland, Ireland, and France. He is a practicing Catholic as a member of Saint Ursula parish. Students affectionately know him for his love of dinosaurs, affinity for Arby's roast beef sandwiches, and occasionally excessive love for bacon. You might see him dancing on the parking lot after school as well.
