Standardized testing
in the Archdiocese of Baltimore is a yearly event that provides teachers
and administrators with normed data to assist with instruction and
curriculum decisions. At the micro-level, teachers have individual student
and class scores to assist with planning instruction that will help
students achieve academic success. At the macro-level, administrators and
the Division of Schools use building level and Archdiocesan system data to
evaluate the effectiveness of the curricular program, design appropriate
staff development, and to assist with strategic planning.
